MORE ABOUT ME

In the world of journalism, there is one thing I try to put above all others: diversification. In this ever changing and innovative field, it is important to stay ahead of the curve with in terms of coverage. That is why I am involved in so many various fields of journalism and broadcasting. When I am home, I am a freelance segment producer and production assistant for the PIX11 Morning News. However, the work I take most pride in is what I do at Penn State. As an editor at the Daily Collegian, I run and supervise a staff over 30 writers in order to produce the best quality news in the area. I have also written well over 150 stories as a writer for the paper and produced videos whose view totals are over 100,000. I help to manage our Twitter account with over 55,000 followers. I am also the director of PSN News, a weekly live tv news show, as well as the executive producer of my own show, "LIVE! (on tape)" which is a biweekly variety show. My love for journalism and broadcasting stemmed from my father being a TV director, and going to work with him as a young boy. It is something that has truly stuck with me. My proximity to New York City has also been quite beneficial to my growth in this field.
